Mon Returns to the Oarhouse, 6.11.07

'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' -- Ey Acasio brings his brother Mon back to the Oarhouse after a month and a week since his stroke.

You won't see him everyday at the Oarhouse guzzling down beers by any stretch now and in his post-stroke recovery period, but just the mere sight of our friend Mon Acasio back and alive at the Oar and recognizing familiar surroundings in the company of friends is wonderful and inspiring to see again.

Let's keep the light on for all the good reasons, and if this inspires change in the way we've been taking so many things for granted, then all the better.

Thanks Rem, for the photo. :-)
