'State Of Uncertainty-Fort Bonifacio:02.26.06'

The most tense-filled military encounter during President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's state of national emergency ended Sunday night of February 26 at the headquarters of the Philippine Marines at Fort Bonifacio when hundreds of soldiers and their officers concluded a five-hour standoff that started when their commandant, Maj. Gen. Renato Miranda, was 'relieved' of duty in the face of newly appointed officer Gen. Nelson Allaga, to the reaction of confused and disbelieving men whose protest and questioning of the announcement was led by bemedalled Marine Col. Ariel Querubin, another much respected officer of the Corps.

Photographer Jes Aznar brings back the images of the standoff amongst soldiers, on exhibit at The Oar and until we say WHEN.
